Issues: Oil and Gas Energy
Over the past couple of years we have seen a revolution in domestic energy production, led not by government meddling but by the power of the free market system. This energy boom has eased our dependence on foreign energy but we still have a long way to go. I support an "all of the above" energy policy that pursues both traditional and new sources of energy, in everything from oil and natural gas and nuclear to wind and solar power. I'm also a proponent of the promotion of commonsense solutions that educate Americans on how best to reduce their energy usage, not legislation that mandates how people are allowed to consume energy.
